G-I NewsGEO-INSTITUTEResolution 00-01 Institutes Representation on the ASCE Board of Direction Whereas, the Institutes have been authorized by the Board of Direction as individual operating centers within the Society; and Whereas, each Institute is governed by its own elected Board of Governors; and Whereas, coordination, cooperation and communication between the Society and its Institutes are vital to the continued success and growth of the Society and the Institutes; and Whereas,the President of the Society appoints a member to the Board of each Institute; Therefore, be it Resolved that the Board of Direction of the Society include Directors from the Institutes.
