Geotechnical Practice Publications

These publications offer the opportunity for sections/branches to publish proceedings to a larger audience with a shorter, less restrictive peer review process than that for Geotechnical Specialty Publications. We invite you to review the attached white paper on Geotechnical Practice Publications and to contact Carol Bowers, the G-I Director, at 703-295-6352 for additional information.

White Paper on Geotechnical Practice Publications

Journal of Geotechnical and Geoenvironmental Engineering

This monthly Journal surveys the field of soil mechanics and foundations, placing special emphasis on the relationship between the geologic environment and man-made works. Traditional topics, as well as newer areas and concerns, are featured, as contributors present practice-oriented papers, case histories, and theoretical papers that have a significant potential for practical application. Topics covered include soil dynamics; engineering behavior of soil and rock; slope stability; dams; rock engineering; environmental geotechnics; geosynthetics; and groundwater monitoring and restoration. Geo-Institute members receive a 33% discount on this publication.
