Dataforensics is a member of the Geotechnical Data Coalition (GDC) and has provided technical efforts and support of the DIGGS schema. Dataforensics' vision of single source data entry through the project lifecycle will be more accessible to end users of their software and their partner’s software because of DIGGS. Dataforensics RAPID CPT software was the first commercially available software that could import DIGGS data. Dataforensics software works in combination with other leading software vendors such as Keynetix (HoleBASE SI and KeyLAB platforms), EScIS (ESdat) and Bentley (gINT)


Bentley, Keynetix, and gINT have provided technical efforts and support for the development of the UML based representation of the DIGGS schema. Developers of intranet and Internet systems: Customized GIS, Maintenance, Document and Asset Management. They are currently implementing software that is compliant with DIGGS including the popular HoleBASE software.

Schnabel Engineering has been providing geotechnical, dam and tunnel engineering services for more than 60 years.  The data collected and the wealth of data available to us daily from many sources has made it clear that common data exchange formats are a necessity for our continued success.  For more than 10 years, we have supported this effort and will continue our work to enhance this scheme and look forward to the insights to come from the common data structure and data availability.

Federal Highway Administration

FHWA is a founding member of the DIGGS development coalition team, and is committed to outreach, training and support in the management and communication of geotechnical data generated in the highway community.

Bridge Software Institute (University of Florida)

BSI is the developer and representative for the FDOT in the DIGGS development efforts. They maintain the software used by the state construction, structures and maintenance offices. Currently they have the FB-Deep (Pile capacity software), Pile Technician (Electronic Pile driving record) and general spreadsheets that automatically transfer to and from the database using the XML schema.

Consortium of Organizations for Strong-Motion Observation Systems (COSMOS)

The COSMOS mission is to expand and modernize significantly the acquisition and application of strong-motion data in order to increase public safety from earthquakes. One of the major objectives of COSMOS is to promote the advancement of strong-motion measurement in densely urbanized areas and other locations of special significance to a society likely to be struck by future earthquakes. Membership in COSMOS is open to all agencies, organizations, private companies and consultants, professional institutions, professional societies, and universities.

Association of Geotechnical and Geoenvironmental Specialists (AGS)

The Association of Geotechnical and Geoenvironmental Specialists (AGS) is a non-profit making trade association established to improve the profile and quality of geotechnical and geoenvironmental engineering. The membership comprises UK organisations and individuals having a common interest in the business of site investigation, geotechnics, geoenvironmental engineering, engineering geology, geochemistry, hydrogeology, and other related disciplines.
