From White and Vennapusa 2010</figcaption></figure></p><p>Roller intelligent compaction (IC) provides a record of soil compaction properties to the operator via an on-board display unit in the roller cabin in real-time. Advantages include providing 100% coverage of compacted areas, while automatically adjusting the compaction process accordingly; increasing productivity; and minimizing costs. This technique is applicable to new embankments, embankment widening, and stabilization of the working platform.</p><p>
