Intelligent Compaction (IC) or Continuous Compaction Control (CCC) is essentially a construction QC/QA related process and is not a design procedure. If the IC/CCC measurements are calibrated with in-situ QC/QA devices that provide a design-related parameter, then the IC/CCC measurements can potentially be related to pavement design.
