This presentation describes data transformation and validation tools that have been used in the development of DIGGS schemas and instance data documents. Software Engineers who work for Geotechnical and Geoenvironmental software and tools vendors may find these tools useful in implementing support for DIGGS in their products. Geotechnical and Geoenvironmental software and tools users may be interested in “looking under the hood” at the processes that will take place to implement DIGGS and bring them the benefits of data interoperability among the data collection, analysis, presentation, and storage software tools they currently use.
